This was submitted and auctioned through https://www.1-800-i-was-scammed.com/ -- a CultureHub scam- themed auction.
The project consists two parts: physical NFC Card with its package and a website that can be tabbed open through the NFC on a smart phone.
The site will provide a scratch pad which reveals a generated serial code and explaination of the scammed experience.
Physically, it manifests as an NFC Card housed within its packaging, embodying a tangible representation of the scam-themed narrative echoing the origin story of the scam. The NFC Card serves as a gateway to the digital realm, inviting users to explore further through interaction with their smartphones.
Digitally, the project unfolds through a website accessible via the NFC Card. Upon tapping open the site, users are greeted with a scratch pad feature that unveils a generated serial code. This code serves as a key to unlock the narrative behind the scam experience, offering users an immersive journey into the complexities of deception and its aftermath.
Through this multifaceted approach, the project bridges the gap between physical and digital realms, inviting users to contemplate the intricacies of scams in contemporary society. It challenges conventional notions of storytelling and interaction, offering a unique and thought-provoking exploration of a pervasive cultural phenomenon.
