Elf Synth
2024

Elf Synth are a series of physical analog and digital synthesizers that are reclaimed from discarded rechargable elf bar vape. The analog synthesizer uses a 555 ic synthesizer circut and the digital synthe uses a microcontroller with wireless modules.

This is a collaboration project with David Rios and Kari Love.

The piece is being presented at Open Hardware Summit 2024.

Bed Light
2023

Bed light is a mood setting light with two bulbs for a nice 30-min read before bed. The top bulb dims in a duration of 30 min while the bottom bulb maintains a readable light level for your eyes.

Phone light is a pair of connected devices that ensures your eyes are protected when using phone in the dark.

Hen

Hen is a remote controlled egg boiler.

The control for Hen is an egg that you would hatch/warm in order to operate the boiler. The current cook time for the egg is estimated to 4 hours.

The annoying phone add-on will greatly enhance your experience of using your phone. It will turn off your phone whenever your screen lights up by clicking the lock button with its tiny paw coming behind the phone.

In "Scents of Us" we delve into the often-neglected yet profound world of scent and its impact on our perception of the environment. These visual representations of various aromas aim to make the intangible tangible, revealing how scents subtly, yet powerfully, influence our surroundings and interactions.

The team aims to transform the ephemeral whispers of scent into a vivid symphony of visual wonder, redefining the boundaries between the seen and the unseen in our sensory world.Highlighting this invisible force in other sensorial methods allows this world to be experienced.

This is a collaboration project with Adnan Aga, Vince Picone, Una Zhang, and M Dougherty .

This project won the Innovation Award for the NYC Media Lab’s Synthetic Media challenge, in collaboration with CHANEL.
